Studying Digital Marketing has for sure changed my online journeys. Being more aware of analytics, metrics and conversions has made its impact.

For instance, just the other week I was looking at cinema times and ticket prices and right before confirming the booking I left the website all together only to realise what metrics I had effected 2 seconds later… I know it’s not the worst thing in the world to happen, I still went to the cinema and bought my tickets but it did make me think if this is a regular occurrence for the company or was my exit of the conversion funnel a one of instance?  

Maybe I’ll never know but I do know I’ll be taking my consumer journeys with more consideration in mind especially with Christmas on the way.

Either way I’ll stay wide awake and no longer chained to the rhythm of my old ways.
